Senior Mechanical Engineers, Trinidad
Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for improving and ensuring the safety and reliability of the plants’ mechanical equipment.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Administration and follow-up of the company’s maintenance plans to ensure the availability and reliability of the mechanical plant and equipment for the site’s production requirements.
2. Technical and organizational leadership within the mechanical maintenance team, including fulfilling the role of reliability engineer and providing technical support to field/workshop execution teams comprising mechanical foremen, technicians and craftsmen.
3. Project Management of capital and other maintenance projects on the site, including performance of the requisite engineering.
4. Development of the maintenance efforts on the site, including review and upgrading of the maintenance plans, coordination and supervision of maintenance activities to ensure realization of company’s key performance indicators and productivity initiatives by the team.
5. Liaising internally with all departments and externally with various suppliers/repair facilities and manufacturers and original manufacturers on issues regarding the inspection, repairs, testing, modifications and technical data for all plant equipment.
6. Working as part of the core team in the implementation of Turnaround Planning and Technical/Engineering research.
7. Managing special projects as assigned by the Maintenance or Technical Services Manager.
8. Providing coverage for plant shut downs and start ups and services for the on-call system.
The successful candidates will have an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, with at least ten (10) years’ postgraduate petrochemical experience and five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership position

Laboratory Assistant, Trinidad
Reporting directly to the Laboratory Analyst, the successful candidate will provide general laboratory support and will assist with the upkeep of the Quality Assurance Process in order to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations of the Plants.
Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Daily inspection, operation and upkeep of laboratory equipment and chemical inventory.
2. 2. Daily sampling, testing, measuring, recording and detailed analysis of plant samples, environmental samples, and external samples.
3. Assisting with research and experimentation for Plant environmental projects.
4. Assisting with the development of new Laboratory procedures.
5. Maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies and chemicals.
6. Accurately completing area forms, log sheets and data input and analysis on the computer.
7. Assisting in the calibration of laboratory instruments.
8. Performing gas testing for Confined Space Entry, Product Ammonia Certificate and ambient testing in emergencies.

Reporting directly to the Production Resources Manager, the successful candidates will assist in the safe and efficient running of the Plants. They will be involved in the management and planning of ammonia plant operations as well as management of a number of varying projects.

1. Providing engineering services for all Plants, Offsites and Utilities as well as for optimization of plant processes.
2. Troubleshooting of process and equipment malfunctions, and the development of operating procedures.

Specialist Mechancial Fitter, Bermuda
The Generation Plant includes diesel and gas turbine driven generators, auxiliary systems, including fuel, lubrication oil, air and water, and associated equipment, such as pumps, compressors, separators and coolers.
Required Work Experience: Minimum 4 years post apprenticeship experience.
Required Education: Successful completion of a 4/5 year apprenticeship programme or equivalent. Full Technical Certificate from City & Guilds of London Institute and Ordinary National Certificate, BTEC or equivalent qualification an asset.
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision/direction. Able to accept responsibility for completing tasks in an economical, safe manner. Capable of leading, training personnel. Electrical Engineer with I&C, Bermuda
Assist and advise on all matters related to electrical and instrumentation and control engineering projects for the Generation Plant.
* Responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical plant, equipment and related auxiliaries.
* Managing electrical engineering function relating to capital projects and system improvements of the Generation Plant, preparing budgets and supervising junior engineering staff.
* Responsible for provision of maintenance, operational support and development of Control and Instrumentation systems primarily within, but not limited to Energy Supply.
* Monitor and support Automation and metering systems as well as develop further applications and tools
* Required to liaise with internal and external customers, other engineering professionals and external consultants or vendors to discuss and resolve engineering issues or problems.
Required Education & Work Experience:
* The successful candidate must have Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification, satisfying the requirement for registration as a professional or chartered engineer.
* A minimum 7 – 10 years experience in the field of electrical power engineering, five of those years at a responsible level.
Proven track record of successful project management related to diesel and gas turbine electric generating plant; supervisory and operational experience would be an asset.
