QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess:

(i) A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Journalism, Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution, plus two (2) years professional experience working in an electronic information and communication environment including website design and management;

(ii) Good general knowledge of current thinking and the priority of regional issues in the field of HIV and AIDS; and

(iii) Strong human relations skills.

Information and Communication Officer, Caribbean

Candidates should possess:

(ii) Good general knowledge in HIV and AIDS in the Caribbean;

(iii) Superior oral and written communication skills; and

(iv) Proven competence in research and analysis and report preparation and presentation.

Computer proficiency is required.

Security Officers, Barbados/Grenada/St. Lucia

The security officer provides general security services. This includes extensive security patrols that require walking, climbing and standing for long periods of time.

Responsible for access control to premises and facility. Deal with invited and uninvited guests and other visitors and respond appropriately to all. Respond to any and all emergencies, including fires, explosions, natural disasters, bomb threats, physical assaults, vandalism, burglary, and others. Respond to an emergency in any way necessary, such as administering First Aid or CPR if certified, extinguish fires, etc. Position can be physically, mentally and emotionally demanding. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by client, supervisor, or management.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean criminal history.
• Be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
• Ability to work well alone as well as part of a team.
• Must be responsible and have a professional attitude.
• Security, military, or law enforcement background is a plus.
• Must have flexibility to work any shift and weekends as required.
