Under the general supervision of the Vice President, the Dean provides instructional leadership consistent with the College¡¦s mission and priorities, and ensures the effective operation of specified instructional department and training services. The Dean oversees the design, planning and initiation of training and professional development activities for community businesses and governmental groups. Responsibilities also include faculty and departmental staff supervision and evaluation, goal setting and assessment of student outcomes, budgeting, and scheduling and staffing of classes.
Masters degree from a recognized institution in Business, or Technical Education(Doctorate preferred)

Proven management skills including planning and development, supervision, budgeting and accounting procedures, public relation techniques.

A distinguished record of teaching, scholarship and service sufficient to warrant appointment at the rank of full professor/principal lecturer;

Minimum five years of educational management experience in a tertiary or higher educational environment

At least five years of relevant classroom teaching experience

Up-to-date with current technology developments and quality processes

Superior interpersonal, communication, team-building and leadership skills

The successful candidate will be required to take up duties on 1 August 2008.


Salary: Commensurate with Experience
